Ministries and Fun Raisers

Sunday School for All Ages:  9:15 am

Preschool/Early Elementary School   
Old Testament stories are being told in an environment that fosters fun and education.  The class is studying Joseph, Moses and the Israelite's travels in the wilderness this fall/winter.

Tween Class
This class is studying David and Saul's adventures, or at times, misadventures.

Lumber (Lewisberry United Methodist Believers in the Everlasting Redeemer) Is a youth class for teens grades 7-12th.  As this class explores the Bible and finds ways to relate to its teachings in a safe, interactive way, they will also be building friendships.  Monthly events are a fun part of this small group meeting.

Adult Class:  is a class to help adults understand the connection of the Bible to christian living while forming positive relationships with each other.  Currently studying the book of 1 John.

Food donations are collected every week and given to our neighbors at Red Land Community Action Center, located in Lewisberry, PA. 

Mission Project:

Our national focus this year is on prison ministries and our international focus is on Village of Hope, Uganda.

This is a year round fundraiser.  The gift cards (up to $100.00) are full value to the person buying them--the church receives 5% of the card value.  These  make great gifts or use them for yourself to buy your groceries and benefit the church at the same time.

Clothing Closet Ministry:
 
James 2: 15-16 says, "Imagine a brother or a sister is without clothes and never has enough daily food.  If one of you says to then, "Go in peace!  Keep warm!  Have a nice meal!  What good does it do if you don't actually give them what their body needs?"
 
Our faith based mission is to provide clothing for those in need.  Free clothing vouchers may be obtained from Red Land Community Action Program (938-4621) at 309 Market Street, Lewisberry, PA.
 
Clothing is available for newborn through adult sizes.
 
     Hours of Operation
        - Second Thursday of each month                       10am-12 noon
-Second Friday of each month 4:30pm-6:30pm
- Second Saturday of each month 10am-12 noon

The Clothing Ministry is located in the gray modular building behind the church on 313 South Street, Lewisberry, PA. behind the church building.
 
We also accept donations.  Please call the church office (938-2093) to make arrangements for drop-off.  Thank you for sharing your blessings by supporting our mission.
 
Women's Circle:

Our Women's Circle meets the third Wednesday of each month.  Monthly meetings  begin at 1:15 pm in room 002  in the church basement.  We begin each meeting with devotions, conduct a business meeting, donate to a mission, and conclude with light refreshments. 
Please enter through the new single door closest to the kitchen.
The Women's Circle ladies also enjoy a monthly luncheon on the 4th Wednesday at a local restaurant picked during the meeting.  
All women are welcome to join our fellowship.  

Each month the group helps out at Mission Central on the second Wednesday of the month.  Anyone (male or female) is welcome to join in this mission work; leaving the church parking lot at 9:30 am and working there from
10 am-12 noon.  
The Women's Circle Fundraisers:

RADA CUTLERY
This is a year round fundraiser for their group.  This money is used to help support Missions and other non-profits that help the less fortunate, as well as children activities.  They make great gifts for others or for yourself.  No kitchen should be with out them.  "Made in the U.S.A."  To order contact:
